(More customer reviews)I am retired from 20 years nursing faculty experience. I was asked to write an instructor's manual that includes 350-400 NCLEX-style sample exam items. Because I knew that the item style format had changed but I was unable to access the current guidelines, I purchased this book. The sole value of the book is as representative of the new NCLEX item formats. It meets my purpose, but any nursing student preparing to take NCLEX for RN licensure will need a comprehensive review book. This is not an adequate review source; there are very few items for each content focus, and I challenge the accuracy of some items.

Answers include rationales for correct and incorrect responses, as well as the applicable nursing process step, client needs category and subcategory, and cognitive level.
