Unfortunately, the degree of competition during recent years made many candidates uncomfortable and induced them overreact to some extent. This book does a great job helping you preparing your personal statements. It also provides plenty of sample LORs that your letter writers can find useful, if they are not sure what format they need to allude to. This can aid FMGs more than locals, I guess. Other aspects like thank you letters, interview questions and post match strategies are also of use. The sample letters, personal statements and other E-mail communications are presented in a very educated and cultured format. To my knowledge, I have not seen a residency application and interview preparation material of this caliber.
